The Tardest Explorer, Teaching in Nunavut

 So today was spent packing and also getting my Vulnerable sector and criminal background check, some I will be working with youth. No worries, passed. I also had the chance to see my parents, Dad gave me a hand made journal which I will write as an 18th century style. I made myself a BBQ and had a fore in my backyard to contemplate my move.

 Reaching for my contract and flight itinerary. Currently there is an issue up north with Aviation fuel and trucks that need parts which might explain why I'm not there yet. However I have begun packing. Heavy on the warm clothes.

 So, after a seven year hiatus, I have found myself an ESL teacher position in Nunavut, Canada. I shall be moving to Sanirajak, formerly Halls Beach. I lucked in to the position. This blog shall document my journey into Northern Canada and my experiences in teaching in an Inuit community. The title is inspired by the Stan Rogers song Northwest Passage.
