The lonely sound of the air raid siren


 So at 0200 today, we had an alarm sound. The Cold War Era alarm sound the same as an air raid warning.

Turns out the Fire department has an old air raid siren to tell the volunteers to get to the fire hall to get the truck out, seeing as beeper and raidos can not work so well here sometimes.

Another fun filled evening 

For a moment there we thought the Russians were coming for Christmas
